What is the technological process? The technological process is a process when you follow sequence of steps to meet a need or solve a problem. The first step is problem idfinication, that is when you find a problem that common to others for example people were tired of yelling. The second step is solution design, the solution design is when they try to fix the problem for example, since they didn’t like yelling they made the phone ( Cup telephone ) The third step is the implementation, the implementation is when you test the product and see what wrong with it. The final step of the technological process is the evaluation, the evaluation is when they upgrade or evolve the product or the problem of the product for example, the cup telephone was just string and a cup but now we have Iphones and more.
Throughout this week we made cup telephones for science. The materials we needed was plastic string or wool string, a plastic cup and scissors. The first step to make the cup telephone was to poke a hole in the cup with the scissors. Next put the string through the hole and tie a knot so it won’t go loose. Finally we went outside and tested it out. When we used the cup telephone it had to be taut because the vibration of the sound wouldn’t go to the other end. My experience of using the cup telephone I recommend to use plastic string than the wool string because it more durable. One fact about the cup telephone, it was made in the 17th century by a man called Robert Hooke and it took him a whole year just to make the cup telephone. I really enjoyed making the cup telephone and I recommend you to make one.
